Anuprayaas is committed to making public places accessible for people with disability in India. Our work of creating accessible infrastructure for people with visual disability is featured in “Demystifying Accessibility In-Built Infrastructure”.
These guidelines are released by the Department of Empowerment for People with Disability, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
It provides a complete guide to make an existing infrastructure accessible. Often it is not possible to rebuilt the buildings to meet accessibility needs. Therefore these guidelines will help you to make your buildings accessible in a cost effective manner.
What does the document cover?
The Document covers Do’s & Don’ts to keep in mind while making a building accessible for various disabilities.
We aim to provide innovative solutions in already built infrastructure for people with disability.
Our work of making Indian railway stations accessible is also acknowledged and featured by ESCAP, United Nation in 2019.
