How Are We Impacting?
“I love to travel alone. This initiative has helped solo women travelers like me since we don’t have to depend on others to ask for directions all the time. “
“Travelling in a Mumbai local is not an easy thing for a blind commuter. We get pushed & misguided. People usually don’t have the time and patience to guide us. We mostly end up missing our trains and at times meet accidents. This project will bring big relief to blind commuters.”
“I am thankful to Anuprayaas for providing me opportunity where I can go out and communicate with so many people. Before this I have never had much interaction with people. It has helped me build my confidence. “

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Accessibility is important in public places?
Accessibility is a precondition for persons with disabilities to live independently and participate fully and equally in society. Without access to the physical environment, to transportation, to information and communication, including information and communications technologies and systems, and to other facilities and services open or provided to the public, persons with disabilities would not have
equal opportunities for participation in their respective societies.
Why Is Braille Important in era of technology?
Braille is as important in a blind person’s life, as print literacy for a sighted person. Also these solutions are dependent on various devices which a blind person may not have access to. In a developing nations braille is important tool for blind people that aids in the process of becoming literate. Braille is also very important for people who are deaf-blind as it enables them to read and write.
