Providing facilities/solutions at public places for the visually impaired thus enabling them to commute with ease and with minimal help from others.
India has the largest blind population in the world and yet we have minimum facilities at public places to provide them easy access.
This led us to take up the initiative and we made India’s First blind friendly Railway Station i.e. Mysore Railway Station on 3rd November 2015.
The objective of Accessibility at Anuprayaas:
To make public places accessible for the blind, so that the can commute with minimal external assistance.
- Providing appropriate Braille signage & tactile maps at public places.
- Providing Braille menu-cards at cafes & restaurants.
- Providing assisting braille documents at public facilities and offices.
